What: Westonka Snoblazers Club Trip
Big Sandy is going to be a bust – as of now there is NO snow and not much in the forecast. So we have come up with another plan B. Plan B is to go to Michigan again only this time we are going to the Keweenaw and ride the tip. Snow conditions here are good to excellent as of now. Be advised that there will be a lot of others up here – the motels are all very booked up. We found some rooms at a place in Hancock where we have stayed before. They have a pool and hot tub. Restaurants and bars are in walking distance. For those of you less familiar with the Keweenaw, Hancock is the city just north of the portage bridge. Houghton is the city just to the south of the bridge.
Since it is a fairly long drive again, we have extended the trip dates into Monday. Drive up Friday. Ride Saturday and/or Sunday. Return on Monday.
But there were very limited rooms in a block. We booked all the available rooms at the Magnuson as they had the most available. If you want to go and our room block gets filled, call around. There may be some rooms available at other places in town – just not a block of them.
If you have reservations at Big Sandy, you will need to cancel them yourself. The club won’t do that for you.

Pool, Sauna, Hot tub. Garage for any maintenance (no longer heated), Continental breakfast, Restaurant out back door.
