SNOBLAZERS CLUB TRIP Tofte – Grand Portage – Tofte
Friday January 18, 2019 – Monday January 21 (MLK day) 2019
3 nights backpack trip.
15 rooms are reserved for each night
Friday Jan 18: Drive from Mound to Tofte
Stay at Americinn: Make your reservation by calling 218-663-7899 and ask for the block called “SNOBLAZERS” Cancellation is 48 hrs. prior
Saturday Jan 19: We ride to Grand Portage Casino
Stay at Casino: Make your reservation by calling 218-475-2401. Reservations are in my name. Although the group name is “SNOBLAZERS”, they said that you need to change any of the unconfirmed reservations that are in my name to your name and put down your cc# to confirm. Cancellation is 72 hours prior.
Sunday January 20th: We ride back to Tofte
Stay at Americinn: Make your reservation by calling 218-663-7899 and ask for the block called “SNOBLAZERS 2” This is a separate block from the Friday block – make sure you have 2 separate reservations at Americinn – 1 for each block. Cancellation is 48 hours prior.
Monday January 21: Check out and drive back to Mound
Any unreserved rooms are released on Monday November 26 (right after Thanksgiving)
Alternates: This will be a fairly long ride each way. You could shorten it by starting and ending in Grand Marais. Or if you don’t want to back pack, you can stay in Tofte and ride with us to Hungry Jacks on the Gunflint trails and then go back when we head towards Grand Portage. You will have to make/alter your own arrangements.
Back-Up Plan: I will not be making a back up plan. In case of no snow, this trip will be cancelled. But you will need to cancel your own reservations.
